We offer an undergraduate major as well as minors in Comparative Arts and in Comparative Literature, which pair well with many majors. A combined B.A./M.L.S. program offered in cooperation with the Luddy School allows students to study Comparative Literature and Library Science in five years. Graduate students have three options for obtaining a master’s degree: a master of arts (M.A.); a dual degree with Library Science (M.A./M.L.S.); and a master of arts for teachers (M.A.T.). We also have an extensive doctoral program that provides considerable freedom in the choice of courses and research topics.
