The Department of Comparative Literature is proud to announce this year's CMLT Award recipients:

C. Clifford Flanigan Memorial Colloquium Prize: Grace Jewell for the presentation, “’Acquérir un pouvoir absolu’: Mastering the Animal of Oneself in the Labyrinth of Versailles”
A.I. Award for Distinguished Teaching: Cynthia Shin
Annie Geduld Memorial Prize: Maggie McLaughlin
Newton P. Stallknecht Memorial Essay Prize: David Bordelon for the paper,  “Philology, Melancholy, and History: An Investigation of the Renaissance”
Wertheim Award in Comparative Drama: Olivia Wood for the paper, “‘Women’ Need a Break: The Trouble of Gender as Demonstrated in Jelinek’s Princess Plays”
